TODAY's paper- The Pope is concerned ONLY about Christians in the mideast, HMMM
What about all the other sects of people getting killed there, yes even terrorists who blow themselves up. NOW, Im NOT a bleading heart, but some one of that stature speaks up and opens pandora's box- What happened last year when Muslins rioted against his comments- Im suprised they are not doing the same thing NOW.

In 1936, the ECONOMY stunk, but FDR made us feel good about the future when he got down to the level of the common people like all of us. He spoke to us as his friends, not his loyal subjects.
NOw we have just the opposite- A good or decent economy for many years, but a pres who says do what I say, and stay out of my way. They wave at us from a distance just like a king or queen, or even a dictator. Remember how Sadam held his hand out to his people- what was that supposed to signify?

MY OPINION for what its worth
The only person who emulates FDR is some ways is Juliani, and has the experience to show he can rise to occasion- remembering 911.
Mrs Clinton seems aloof and not getting to the people in the same was as FDR. or maybe thats just the way FOX tv shows her- I dont know why I watch that channel- they are soooo onesided.
Hillary with Bill stand an equal chance of making it happen.- If they get Obama to run as
VP, then they'v got it.

Gore is pulling 20% and is not
running yet. Edwards is the only
one that beats a repblican handily
but is trailing within democratic
polls.
Clinton was a disaster to the country. Clinton caused bush to happen. He let the
republican congress kill terrorism hearings in favor of the stained dress, stock mkt capitalization grew 500% and the people collapsed
further.
Clinton enabled the mass wealth
transfer, media consolidation, power consolidation in the likes of
a project for new american century.
People thought they did better because of theoretical paper gains, that they lost, and financialization. Financialization is the myth of deferment of living the standard collapse by a creative debt expansion.
People in dumbfuckistan ( former known as america) dont know the
difference. If Clinton did well the democratic party would have grown strong and democratized the country, prevented bush, the people would be strong and on their way to dismantling the welfare state by way self prosperity. The people would be financial secure and prosperous, that is the core value. Security is the core family value enabling growth and wise choices, health, education, and the like.
So we don't need another clinton
type republican lite.
We saw the productivity, widgets
per man hour, double in our company
and the people fell further behind

It is clear this system, whatever it is called some hybrid of fascism
and socialism, does not work for the owners of democracy. I think when you have 65% of every healthcare dollar payed by the govt and 90% of all healthcare profits go the ceos, it's called
fascism.
I don't think a democracy every
existed, no one knows what it is,
it's a myth they propogate in the
state media.
I hope gore runs, or ron paul wins
with a democratic congress. It would take a democratic congress to
restrain the most extreme measures
of libertarianism but would enable the process to start.
You want Gore and you despise Clinton and blame him for enabling Bush. But Clinton was overwhelmingly popular and paved an easy road for Gore to follow him into the Oval Office. Gore blew it. He distanced himself from the "stained dress" President on the campaign trail and put the nail in his coffin by naming a blood-thirsty rabbi as his #2.
Gore has a better life on the speaking circuit and an Oscar on the mantle. He is an idiot, though, so I won't rule out his jumping into the fray again at the last minute.
Ron Paul is a Goldwater dinosaur. The Republican Party left his kind long ago to pray at the alter of Falwell and await the Rapture with billion dollar parachutes in the meantime. It's sickening to see morons like Rudy and Romney take potshots at Paul in these made-for-TV candyass debates, but that's American Politics. I'm glad he's out there fighting the good fight for the "former Right," but he'll be best switching parties after he has his little run here. Especially with the rabbi dispensiing the Bushie kool-aid and being the biggest drinker, to boot.
ALl I can say is THANKS for your commentary, but it cleared up nothing, so far, and we still have a long way to go b4 the first primary block.

THANK GOD we DEBATE our way thru politics with the spoken and WRITTEN word, as set out by our founders. WE do not engage in take overs, poisonings,
and CHAVEZ type government.
