The animal spirits run wild. We are up over 100 points on the DOW and at the magic 12K level again.
If the market does NOT give us a 10 - 12% whack in the next week or so, I'm going to be awful surprised. Why? Because no one is looking for it any more. They figure if Egypt didn't do it, nothing will. I can almost buy that argument, because frankly Bernake's trillions are moving things higher than I expected they could. Yet I've seen this movie before. June 1999 to March 2000. Insane run up. Insane overbought. Insane bullish sentiment. and then the rug pull, where that market crashed.. and 11 years later the NASDAQ is STILL off 45%.
